Hi There!
My name is Carmen Martin, M.S., CCC-SLP, owner of Martin Pediatric Therapy, LLC. and a native of Pasadena, Texas. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2015, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern University A&M College in 2017.
After receiving my certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), I have worked in public schools, home health, pediatric rehabilitation, and private practices in the greater Houston area. Majority of my experiences include providing speech therapy for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children of culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety communication disorders: receptive/expressive and pragmatic language, articulation, early intervention, fluency (stuttering), augmentative alternative communication (AAC), Autism spectrum Disorders, and other developmental delays. I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with my clients and families to achieve functional communication skills.
